I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Magdeburg, Germany. Here, I am part of the Computational Methods in Systems and Control Theory (CSC) group, headed by Prof. Peter Benner. My research focuses on numerical analysis for low-rank tensor methods and their applications, as well as other topics in numerical linear algebra in general.
Before that, I obtained my M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from EPFL in 2024, where I worked with Michael Herbst, Nicolas Boumal and Daniel Kressner (reverse chronological order). Before moving to Switzerland, I received my B.Sc. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Beijing Normal University in 2021, where I was supervised by Huajie Chen.
